I paint from a position of an abiding skepticism along with a faith in being able to find something from nothing.  There is no idea that shapes the work from its inception.  The images are created from suggestions of the process itself and how I relate to the work as I am making it.

My paintings are meant to elicit a wide range of responses - they are often introspective and emotional.  If there is a way to “read” these paintings, the titles are a good place to start.
